Gosainkunda Trek is one of the popular treks in Nepal located 140km north of Kathmandu in Langtang region. Gosainkunda Lake is a sacred holy lake believed to be created by Lord Shiva. This pristine lake is assumed to have magical healing powers so Hindus and Buddhists from all over Nepal come to visit the lake, mostly during the full moon night in the month of August.
