This tour can start from either Kabale town or Lake Bunyonyi in Uganda. Pick up early in the morning and head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, which is southwest of Uganda. The park is home to colobus monkeys, chimpanzees, and birds such as hornbills and turacos. Most notably, half of the world's population of the critically endangered mountain gorillas is found here.
Upon arrival, you will have a brief orientation at the Gorilla Briefing Centre. For this activity, you are likely to join another group where you will have an assigned guide. As a team, you will venture into the forest for a once in a lifetime gorilla tracking experience.
Indeed, this is a unique experience that makes Safari in Uganda at par with its neighboring East African countries. There is nothing more exotic than starring in a real African jungle adventure. You get the real Ugandan atmosphere as you move through the bushes and watch the gorillas swing through the steady branches.
The tour ends in the afternoon where your driver will be waiting to take you back to Kabale town or Lake Bunyonyi.
