Fantastic tour with an amazing guide—just wish we had more time at Þingvellir!
I recently took the Golden Circle, Brúarfoss, and Kerið day tour with Troll Expeditions, and overall it was a fantastic experience. From start to finish, the logistics were smooth. Finding the pickup bus stop in Reykjavik was easy and hassle-free, and the bus itself was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—which makes a big difference on a full-day tour. A huge shoutout to our guide, Ionut! He was absolute perfection—exceptionally well-organized, strictly on time, and extremely friendly. Throughout the drive, Ionut shared detailed insights into Iceland’s geology, local history, culture, and lesser-known facts about the sites we passed. His commentary went well beyond a standard script and gave me a much deeper understanding and appreciation of the island. The highlight stops were breathtaking, especially Brúarfoss with its vivid blue waters and the vibrant Kerið volcanic crater. A delightful bonus was the stop at the Icelandic horse farm—getting up close to the horses was an awesome touch that made the itinerary feel extra special! My only constructive feedback is regarding the timing at Þingvellir National Park. Because the park has so much historical and geological significance, it felt a bit rushed, and I would have loved an extra 20–30 minutes there to explore the trails and rift valley fully. Despite that minor pacing detail, I highly recommend this tour—and specifically asking for Ionut if you can! Thank you, Troll Expeditions, for a memorable day.

First day of minibus trip i island was very nice
the scenery was amazing and stunning! the tour guide Bjørn is really nice! very enthusiastic and energetic! he even taught us Icelandic language. i had a fantastik day that day, hope next time i went to iceland i can still be on his minibus tour.

Our guide Bjord was really amazing! He explained a lot of things with a sense of humour, which often filled the entire bus with laughter. If I had the opportunity, I would definetely do the tour again! The sights were gorgeous too!
