Gokyo lake trek offers you to witness exceptional mountain views with scenic walk in the shade of towering Mt. Everest. The Gokyo lakes are located at an altitude of around 5000m and are considered to be among the highest lakes in the world. The lakes hold both cultural (sacred to Hindus and Buddhists) and environmental importance as they are considered as Ramsar site (wetlands). The Gokyo Valley is within the Sagarmatha National Park.
