The beer town of Plzen and the glassblowing center of Nizbor are complicated to visit without hiring a car. This tour allows you to visit both towns in one day in an air-conditioned coach, with commentary from a guide. Visit the Prazdroj Pilsner Urquell brewery and learn about the history of beer-making in Plzen. Continue on to the Nizbor glassworks, where you can watch glassblowers create Bohemian crystal.

Rückl glassworks is located in Nižbor, Central Bohemia, only 35 minutes from downtown Prague. Its location in the proximity of the capital city and two of the most impressive Czech castles - Karlštejn and Křivoklát, make Rückl glassworks a perfect destination for trips. Our guided tours are suitable for individuals and groups, adults and families. During tours visitors may witness all the individual steps and traditional techniques of the glass-manufacturing process. Each stage of crystal production is explained and shown, including the art of mouth-blowing, delicate processes of the quality control, incredible craftsmanship of glass cutting and the painter‘s studio. Tours are available in English and German and take 45 minutes. Please, keep in mind that group tours must be reserved ahead.
