This Ghorepani Poon hill trekking is one of the most popular, short and easy treks in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Category of this trek lies in short and easy trek of Nepal. This trek suits those who have a shorter time and want easy trek than trekking in the Annapurna Region or Everest Region. It lies at an altitude of 3200m just beneath the greatest Himalayan Range. The trek mostly meanders through fascinating traditional villages, ethnic communities of Gurung and Magar, rhododendron forest and 360-degree views of more than 10 great mountains. As it is the easiest and shortest trek that doesn’t require any experience in trekking. During the season, the route can be congested but it is possible to trek Poon Hill at any time of the year. The Ghorepani Poonhill trek starts from Nayapul, near Pokhara, and takes 3-5 days walking at a moderate pace. Main attractions: Kathmandu Sightseeing Pokhara Sightseeing Great Annapurna Himalayan views as well as sunrise view.
