The trek can be completed in 5 days at most but you can choose your own plan to finish the trek quickly or take it for a week. The view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges is the ultimate prize for you including several other snowy peaks like Hiunchuli, Machhapuchre, and Nilgiri (and many more). Also the sunrise from the Poon Hill will make your day. The trek to Gorepani-Poon Hill also involves many villages, forest walks and big villages with Magar and Gurung settlements. Your Gorepani - Poon Hill trek starts from Kathmandu/ Pokhara with drive to Nayapul. Then the real trekking starts from there to Ulleri, a Magar village. Enjoy the scenery as you proceed from Ulleri to Gorepani and to Ghandruk, a Gurung village. You will pass through forest with wild faunas, small village settlements, flowing streams and rivers with beautiful views of mighty mountains.
