This tour will take you to Bertha's Beach along the East coast of East Falkland Island, home to 500 pairs of Gentoo penguins. Known to be the second largest type of penguin on the Islands, you will be able to observe them in their natural habitat and watch as they feed their young and swim in the sea.
As an added bonus, on most days you will also be able to see dolphins swimming near the area's long white sandy beach. You will also have the opportunity to take photos near the penguins. Complete the tour at the Island's Historic Dockyard Museum, where you can learn some history about this unique island environment.
It's recommended that guests wear a warm jacket, layered clothing, and sturdy walking shoes. The car trip to reach the penguins is 10 minutes off road, but is fairly gentle. There are toilet facilities on this tour as well.
