After lunch, continue this special extended trip down the Lower Gauley, with rapids that most people never see. A true 26 mile rafting marathon!
At the river, you will get into your group's raft with your Guide, and immediately enter the Gauley River during an active dam release. This is NOT a slow start!! You will immediately paddle into a rush of excitement as the trip gets off to a very fast start. The river terrain is impressive, with huge boulders, dramatic drops, and quick changes in expanse and elevation.
