Upon arrival at Funzi island, you will get to sail up the river on a motorized canoe. On either side of the river, you can see a stretch of the mangrove forest. The river abounds with exceptional bird life and, a chance to spot crocodiles as they bask in the sun by the river bank.
It is important to note that the water in Ramisi river is not clear (due to the mangrove), and is therefore, not suitable for snorkeling. However, Funzi lagoon is amazing and the trip is calm and relaxing.
