Summary

Have you ever dreamed of steering a dog sled pulled by huskies on snow? If yes, this tour is for you! First, you will meet the dogs and cuddle and get to know them a little bit. Then everybody find a dog by choice and you and your friends compete on dog sleds. We will tell you everything you need to know about dog sledding, how it works and will be supervising the whole time. After the sledding fun is over, you are welcome into our home, where the huskies live, where you can have coffee, tea or hot chocolate and get lots of husky kisses. Huskies are among the friendliest breeds of dogs and love to cuddle. These warm animals love to meet new people and will, of course, expect a belly rub and some attention. The huskies are all just as cute as you'd imagine, and each has its distinct personality.

Why take this tour?

This is all about having fun with the dogs in a safe environment. We are located just outside Akureyri, surrounded by beautiful mountains in the longest fjord in Iceland. We take the dogsleds out on the fields just outside our house and everyone gets to take turns. This tour is great for a group of people looking for excitement and lots of fun. You get to steer the dogsled or we can take you (younger kids or those who rather would like to enjoy the ride). Come play in the snow with our dogs.
