Great tour of Varanasi
We had an excellent tour of Varanasi with Himanshu. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a fascinating insight into the city’s history, culture, and traditions. He took us through the old part of Varanasi, showed us the famous ghats, and also took us to Sarnath, where Buddha gave his first sermon. Throughout the tour, Himanshu shared many interesting stories and historical details that really brought the places we visited to life. He was engaging, friendly, and happy to answer all our questions. His knowledge and storytelling made the experience much more meaningful and gave us a much deeper understanding of Varanasi. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an informative and memorable tour of Varanasi!
Varanasi Tour
Unfortunately, the boat trip could not be made, as all were suspended due to the rain. The price was adjusted. The tour itself was quite complete and the guide Himanshu was friendly and helpful, very easy to understand. Besides that, he took a lot of photos that he shared with us and they were very good. The guide assigned in Sarnath was impossible to understand what it said.
Our tour should...
Our tour should include two boat trips (one at sunrise and one at sunset). However, since it rained a lot recently in Varanasi, the trips could not be made. Although the company is not at fault, the price is extremely exaggerated considering that we also paid for two trips that we did not use. It would be good for the company to offer a refund for this part. As for the rest, everything went well. Our guide, Himanshu, was excellent, he explained all the places we passed, and always tried to understand what interested us most, adapting the tour to our interests. Besides that, it took us to places to try traditional snacks. I highly recommend it. Regarding Sarnath, we had a different guide, and unfortunately, we didn't understand his English very well. Overall, it was a good day, but at an extremely exaggerated price considering we didn't do the included boat trips.
