There are certainly more than seven colours in the lake. You have to catch the lake in the sunshine, though, to get the full spectrum. The lake water is fresh. Most of the lake is crystal clear and the high limestone content of the water is such that the sun reflects the sky, causing the lake to take on several different shades of aqua blue.
