The tour begins along an easy half hour hike along a track beneath the rainforest canopy, interspersed with panoramic views of the surrounding escarpment and ocean. Upon reaching the start of the canyon, equipment is donned and instruction on canyoning techniques is provided.
The day is spent swimming and wading through the watercourse, traversing many obstacles along the way.
