Begin your tour with pickup from your Cape Town hotel prior to an 8 a.m. tour start time. Ride past vineyards and rural scenery along the Stellenbosch Wine Route to the Zevenwacht Wine Estate, located roughly 20 minutes outside of Cape Town. Upon reaching the small but vibrant town of Stellenbosch, enjoy your first tasting at a wine cellar. This region is known for growing a wide variety of grapes, including chenin blanc, pinotage, shiraz, and méthode cap classique for sparkling wine. Then, continue to the old Huguenot village of Franschhoek.
