After hotel pickup in Krabi, you’re transferred to the coastal village of Bor Thor by minivan. Admire the stunning natural landscape of southern Thailand, strewn with limestone cliffs, along the way.
On arrival, receive a safety briefing and paddling tips before heading out with your guide on a kayaking tour. Paddle across the Marui River and follow a series of inlets to some extraordinary caves, many of them only accessible by kayak. You’ll find stalactites and stalagmites inside Lod Cave before continuing through a tunnel to Khao Wong lagoon, located in the middle of a mountain.
Refuel with a delicious Thai lunch at a local seafood restaurant by the river.
Then paddle over to Pee Hua Toh Cave where your guide points out ancient cave paintings and pictographs. Make your way through the cave's numerous grottos until you arrive at a viewpoint overlooking the mangrove forest and sprawling ocean.
Afterward, you’ll continue to Tha Pom, aka Khlong Song Nam, translated as ‘canal of two waters.’ Named for the mix of seawater and freshwater at high tide, the canal beckons for a swim in its crystal-clear waters. Finish with the return to Bor Thor and onward to your hotel in Krabi.
