Our driver will come for the pickup from your hotel or if your hotel is located at Nungwi or Kendwa beach we will come on the beachside with a boat for the pickup and start the tour.
It's around 2 hours boat ride from Nungwi to Saadani, once we arrive at Saadani we will take a four-wheel Landrover Safari car and start the game drive where you might see giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, common waterbucks, reedbucks, hartebeests, wildebeests, red duikers, greater kudus, elands, sable antelopes, yellow baboons, velvet monkeys, and much more.
Herds of up to 30 elephants are encountered with increasing frequency, and several lion pride are inhabitants, together with leopards, spotted hyenas, and black-backed jackals. Also around the Wami River come along with a high chance of sighting hippos, crocodiles, and a selection of marine and riverine birds, including the mangrove kingfisher and lesser flamingo. The beaches form one of the last major green turtle breeding sites in mainland Tanzania.
We will also have lunch at Saadani and After the Game drive, we will return back to the Saadani beach and take our boat back to Nungwi then drop you at your Hotel/ Accommodation.
