Depending on the pick-up destination selected, your tour begins with a transfer from your Blenheim, Renwick, or Picton hotel to the Vine Village, where your rental bikes will be waiting for you. Equipped with a map of the wine region and wineries, set out along the Marlborough wine trail, stopping along the way to enjoy wine tasting at the many open Cellar Doors. You have between 10am and 4.30pm to explore, and with over a dozen wineries all within a 3km distance from your starting point, you’ll have plenty of opportunities for wine tasting. Many wineries offer free tastings, but a few of the bigger wineries charge a small fee (around $5). Along the way, stop for lunch (own expense) at one of the winery restaurants or tuck into a delicious pre-packed picnic (if option selected). After a full day pedaling around the vineyards, return to your starting point, where a driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

Flat, easy biking and beautiful scenery mean cycling the vineyards is the only way to tour the wineries. Within 3km of our home base at the Vines Village there are over a dozen wineries and river trails, giving you the best location in Marlborough to start riding from. Full day hire includes free pick up from Blenheim or Renwick accommodation. Three hour hire can be picked up from our base or the gelato shop at the The Vines Village. We have ample free parking,toilets and an on-site cafe. We are the only bike hire company in the area to be based on the original Golden Mile and the only company with a winery cellar door onsite.
