After a brief orientation, you set out through the mangrove forest ecosystem to see the flora and fauna of the area. Take part in several slogs—walking in water—throughout the day, venturing into alligator holes and cypress domes. Observe wildlife, such as alligators, birds, orchids and more in their natural environments.
Gently row your kayak into the salty waters of Florida Bay to explore the variety of marine life in this area. Be on the lookout for manatees, sharks, dolphins, and sawfish. Depending on the season and tour, your guide may take you on a night walk to explore the night creatures of the Everglades with a flashlight.
