Even in summer, temperatures can be cool and conditions change quickly, especially near waterfalls where you'll encounter mist and spray. Iceland's weather is famously unpredictable and can change rapidly throughout the day. Expect temperatures between 0-15°C (32-59°F) depending on the season, with potential for rain, wind, or even snow regardless of the forecast. The Golden Circle region is relatively inland, so it's typically drier than coastal areas, but you should still prepare for wet conditions. Wind can be strong, especially at open areas like Gullfoss waterfall. We recommend checking the weather forecast before your tour but always dressing for multiple weather scenarios.

This tour involves moderate walking on varied terrain and may not be suitable for guests with significant mobility limitations. At Þingvellir National Park, paths include uneven surfaces, steps, and rocky terrain. Gullfoss waterfall has multiple viewing platforms accessed by stairs and uneven walkways. Geysir area has relatively flat terrain but includes gravel paths. The tour bus is not wheelchair accessible. Lunch is not included in the tour price, giving you flexibility to choose based on your preferences and budget. We'll stop for lunch at carefully selected restaurants near the attractions, typically featuring traditional Icelandic cuisine and international options. Expect options like lamb soup, fresh seafood, hearty sandwiches, and vegetarian dishes, with prices ranging from 2,500-4,500 ISK (£18-33). Most restaurants accommodate dietary restrictions including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options - please inform your guide of any requirements. You're welcome to bring your own packed lunch if preferred.

Yes, restroom facilities are available at all major stops on our Golden Circle tour. Clean, modern restrooms can be found at Þingvellir National Park visitor center, the Geysir geothermal area visitor center, and Gullfoss waterfall visitor center. These facilities are typically well-maintained with running water and proper heating. There are also restroom facilities at our lunch stop restaurant. The bus itself does not have onboard restrooms, so we plan our stops strategically to ensure comfortable intervals between facilities, usually every 1-2 hours.

We provide convenient pickup service from designated locations throughout Reykjavik, including major hotels, guesthouses, and central pickup points like BSI Bus Terminal and Hallgrímskirkja Church. Pickup begins 30 minutes before the official tour start time and can take up to 30 minutes to collect all guests, so please be ready at your designated time. You'll receive exact pickup details via email 24-48 hours before your tour. If staying outside central Reykjavik, we may arrange a meeting point at the nearest pickup location.
