Start with pickup at your hotel in Hanoi, then begin the journey to Cuc Phuon National Park, Vietnam’s first national park, which is considered among the most important protected areas in the country. The first stop of the day is the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, home to roughly 150 primates, including langur, gibbon, and loris. Learn how the animals are rescued and cared for at the center, and about the challenges faced by conservationists in Vietnam.
Pause for lunch, continue into the park to see a cave with traces of human habitation dating back 7,000 years, then hike into the forest to learn about the park’s plants and wildlife. Stop to see Cho Chi, the oldest tree in the area, and pass a series of streams and waterfalls at the edge of the trail.
Following your hike, begin the return trip to Hanoi, where this tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.
