Next, revitalize with lunch at a seaside tavern in Palea Fokea before heading to Cape Sounio, to visit an archeological site overlooking the Aegean Sea. The Temple of Poseidon is a significant landmark that has served sailors since the era of ancient Greece: spend a while exploring with your guide and discover the site’s history. Depending on the season, take a refreshing dip in the Aegean Sea before drying off and returning to your Athens accommodation.
