After pickup from your Dubai or Sharjah hotel or a central location in either city, venture into the desert by comfortable, air-conditioned 4x4.
As you travel, watch as the sandy plains change into the striking Lahbab Desert. About 31 miles (50 kilometers) from Dubai, this region is famous for its high, red-colored dunes — a spectacular sight.
