Full Day Wine Country and Armstrong Woods Tour Experience the best of Northern California with our Full Day Wine Country and Armstrong Woods Tour. Departing from Fisherman’s Wharf, you'll journey across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge to the picturesque Russian River region. Your first stop is the historic Korbel Winery, where you'll enjoy a full tasting of California Champagne amidst beautiful landscapes and historic buildings. You will do a guided tour of the winery and history of the family. Don't forget to visit their on-site deli to pick up some delicious lunch or snacks. Next, we head to the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, home to the awe-inspiring Colonel Armstrong Redwoods Tree, which is over 1,000 years old. Spend 45 minutes to an hour and a half exploring this natural wonder. After soaking in the beauty of the redwoods, we will drive to our next stop. Our final wine tasting stop is either at Russian River Vineyards or Horse and Plow. At Russian River, you'll sip award-winning wines while overlooking the scenic vineyards. Enjoy delicious sandwiches, salads, or small bites from their on-site restaurant as you savor your tasting. If you happen to go to Horse and Plow that day, instead, you will enjoy organically grown wine & local cider in the heart of the Russian River Valley. On the return trip to San Francisco, you'll pass through Sebastopol, offering a different view of California's stunning countryside.
