Our Beefeater guide was amazing. We so enjoyed listening to his stories.
The Capuchin Crypt museum and the Catacombs themselves were pretty interesting but this tour felt like a waste. The tour guide added almost no value. She walked us to the Capuchin Crypt museum and left us there with an audio tour, then put us on a bus to get to the Catacombs where a different person took us through that experience. The tour guide did nothing more than chit-chat on the bus. In addition, there was a road closure on our return and the driver (despite waiting around for an hour while we were in Catacombs) had no idea until we were on top of it. If the tour was basically just transportation I think they should’ve been checking a nav app or something. I do not think this tour was worth the money.
Additional information
Tickets for the Musical Fountains Show or Musical Gardens are added automatically to the price when running. When not running a standard guided tour of the gardens is provided. Some parts of the palace may be temporarily closed for renovation. If this occurs, these areas will be substituted with other important rooms depending on the day of your visit.
Due to increased security measures at many attractions some lines may form on tours with 'Skip the Line' access. Please note that Musical Gardens and Fountain show may be subject to last minute schedule changes that are not under our control.
Fountain Show is running from April to October on Saturdays and Sundays. Musical Garden Show is running from April to June and from September to October on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. While from July to August is running from Tuesday to Friday.
