Be ready for convenient pickup at 8am at your Guilin hotel. With your guide and group, travel about 2.5 hours up into the mountain foothills to the Longji Rice Terraces.  Trek into the rice fields, where locals have been cultivating rice for more than six centuries. Learn about the history and culture of the local villagers, made up of the Chinese Zhuang and Yao ethnic minorities. Witness folk singing and dancing performances and admire the unique architectural style of the village homes. Sit down for a Chinese lunch on the mountainside, enjoying the scenery and atmosphere.  Return to your Guilin hotel for drop-off around 6:30pm
