Very early in the morning, your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Brasov
You will be taken 100 kilometers away, in the Putna Vrancea Natural Park, a protected area which has the highest density of wild animals in Romania
After meeting the ranger, you will begin hiking in one of the few routes that are in the area. The trails are unmarked, so you pass through very wild and remote places, looking for animal tracks and marks. You will find out interesting information about the forest, the species of trees that can be found here and also, you will arrive in beautiful viewpoints, overlooking the valley.
The trails go through uneven terrain, rocks and fallen trees, so you must be very fit for this experience. Also, very good trekking boots are needed for your safety.
You will stop from time to time and the ranger will explain about the efforts behind conserving wild species of animals and sustainable tourism.
Depending on your fitness level, the hike can very between three to six hours.
After getting back to the village, you will have a delicious lunch.
In the end, your guide will take you back to Brasov and drop you off at your accommodation.
