Summary

Your morning begins with a pickup from your Bled hotel, followed by an hour and half drive through the Slovenian countryside to the site of the mine. You’ll then hop aboard an old mining train and descend 15 minutes towards the entrance of the mine. After a short hike you’ll reach the waters of the underground mine where you’ll get prepped with dry suits and outfitted in your kayak before rowing off into the darkness of a underground labyrinth. You’ll spend about four hours exploring the silent passageways and galleries by both foot and boat before returning to the light of day and back to your Bled hotel.

Kayaking through Slovenia’s “Black Hole” mine tunnels is not something you can do on your own. During this unique 8-hour excursion from Bled, your guide you will lead you through the abandoned tunnels with only headlamps to light your way.
