LEST WE FORGET
August 1966, 105 young Australians of Delta Company, 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment along with 3 New Zealanders attached from 161 Battery, 16 Field Regiment, Royal NZ Artillery, fought for their lives against an overwhelming enemy force of hardened North Vietnamese Military Force, in a rubber plantation called Long Tan.
With an aim to offer a chance for the veterans, particularly the Australian veterans to return to the battlefield, and the Australian young generation to tribute to their grandparents' sacrification, our Tour is customized to pay a solemn visit to the Long Tan Cross Memorial, the site of Horseshoe FSB and the Long Phuoc Tunnels.
Long Tan and Vung Tau are now becoming a great place for tourist. Last but not least, we shall visit the Robert Taylor Museum Of Worldwide Arms – The weapon museum of a private collection consists of 2,500 items ranging from guns and swords to army uniforms dating back to between the 17th and 20th centuries.
