French Quarter History and Landmark Waking Tour

Meet your guide in the center of the French Quarter at The Chartres House at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

Once the tour starts, you explore the popular New Orleans neighborhood, founded in 1718, and its prominent landmarks, structures, shops, and locales, such as Jackson Square, the Cabildo (a Spanish colonial building that houses historical artifacts), the French Market, Cafe du Monde, the Presbytere, and more.

Throughout the tour, hear about the city’s colorful tales, as well as its roots as an 18th-century French colony. Stroll through St. Louis No. 1 cemetery, which is the final resting place of the city's renowned voodoo priestess Marie Laveau.
