Description

Our snowmobile evening tours will start with a suiting-up session where all the equipment will be provided. Then you will take a short driving course on your Bombardier Ace Expedition Sport snowmobile (600 and 900 cc), with heated grips, and a summary of the safety instructions will follow. We have a variety of trails to choose from. Some are straight and flat, others wind through the hills. Our guides will choose the trail based on the trail conditions and the experience of the group.

 

During the ride, you will stop and get the chance to take pictures.

  • Passenger 10 years minimum and 54” (137cm) minimum in height is required.

  • Children must be able to hold-on themselves, behind the adult.

  • No expectant mothers.
  •  
  • Drivers must be 18 years minimum and have a valid driver’s license in hand throughout the snowmobile tour (copy or photo not accepted).

  • Credit card for 2500$ +tx security deposit (Visa or Mastercard only, no cash).

      Additional information : 

  • Our base is 20 minutes from Tremblant Resort, 1h30 from Montreal and 2h30 from Ottawa. We offer transport to this base from The Activity Centre.

  • Duration: The evening tour can vary from 1h40 to 2h10 depending on weather conditions.
  •  
  • Credit card for 2500$ +tx security deposit (Visa or Mastercard only, no cash). Or with a fee of 50$ to reduce the security deposit to 1000$ +tx.

  • For guests who choose to reserve in advance (recommended), directions to meeting points will be provided in your reservation by email. Otherwise, directions will be handed to you when you reserve at The Activity Centre.

    Start Location Directions: DIRECTIONS FROM TREMBLANT RESORT – 30 minutes 1. Exit Tremblant and drive towards the traffic-circle at the north end of Montée Ryan facing Lac Tremblant and turn left on Montée Ryan. 2. At the next large traffic-circle adjacent to the Tourist Information Centre, continue on Montée Ryan. 3. At the end of Montée Ryan, turn left on Highway 117 South towards Montréal. After about 5km you will pass the grocery stores (IGA, SuperC and Maxi) and cross 2 roundabouts. Continue southbound. 4. After 15 minutes, you will see a large sign on the far left hand side of the autoroute (northbound side) for “Camping Domaine Lausanne”. Immediately exit left to make a legal U-turn and take the northbound autoroute. 5. Enter “Camping Domaine Lausanne” and park. 6. You will be greeted in main building on the left. DIRECTIONS FROM OLD TREMBLANT VILLAGE – 30 minutes 1. Take chemin du Village towards the traffic circle. 2. Turn right at the traffic circle onto Montée Ryan. 3. At the end of Montée Ryan, turn left on Highway 117 South towards Montréal. After about 5km you will pass the grocery stores (IGA, SuperC and Maxi) and cross 2 roundabouts. Continue southbound. 4. After 15 minutes, you will see a large sign on the far left hand side of the autoroute (northbound side) for “Camping Domaine Lausanne”. Immediately exit left to make a legal U-turn and take the northbound autoroute. 5. Enter “Camping Domaine Lausanne” and park. 6. You will be greeted in main building on the left. DIRECTIONS FROM ST-JOVITE AREA – MONT-TREMBLANT – 15 minutes 1. Take the Highway 117 South towards Montréal for about 18km. 2. After 15 minutes, you will see a large sign on the far left hand side of the autoroute (northbound side) for “Camping Domaine Lausanne”. Immediately exit left to make a legal U-turn and take the northbound autoroute. 3. Enter “Camping Domaine Lausanne” and park. 4. You will be greeted in main building on the left. DIRECTIONS FROM MONTREAL – 1.5h drive 1. Take auto route 15 north towards Ste-Agathe-des-Monts. 2. After Ste-Agathe the 15 north will merge into the 117. 3. Continue for about 7 minutes and you will see a large sign on the right hand side of the autoroute for “Camping Domaine Lausanne”. 4. Enter “Camping Domaine Lausanne” and park. 5. You will be greeted in main building on the left. DIRECTIONS FROM OTTAWA – 2h drive 1. take auto route 50 east. 2. Take 323 north to Mont-Tremblant. 3. Turn right onto the 117 south. Follow directions above from St-Jovite.

    Cancellation

    Cancellation Cutoff: 48 hours

    Cancellation Notes: <b>CHANGE AND CANCELLATION POLICIES</b> Requests for Changes or Cancellations to an existing reservation that are time sensitive, must be made verbally to a member of The Tremblant Activity Centre staff during working hours. 1. Cancellations or changes to all reservations within 48 hours of the start date/time are non-refundable (unless otherwise specified) (14 days for camping, cabins, treehouses). No shows or late arrivals are non-refundable. 2. Cancellations or changes to all reservations made prior to 48 hours from the start date/time are subject to a 20% charge of the total reservation amount (unless otherwise specified) (not applicable for our camping, cabins, treehouses). 3. We reserve the right to cancel an activity without notice(even though we will always try to let you know as soon as we cancel). This would normally be for, but is not limited to, safety and security reasons, climatic conditions, or equipment failure. In such cases an alternative date or full refund will be provided at your option. Gift Certificates Gift-certificates and gift cards are non refundable. Our gift certificates for a specific dollar amount never expire. Our gift certificates for a specific activity are valid only for a period of 3 months since activity prices change from season to season. After three months, certificates for a specific activity are redeemable for the original amount paid, and a surplus may need to so that it matches the latest price.

    1. Please dress appropriately for the activity that you plan to do.

    2. It is your responsibility to be at the meeting/pick up point on time, otherwise the activity will take place without you. Please do not hesitate to contact us in advance if you are unsure of any information or driving directions.

    3. Please note that there is an element of risk in all outdoor activities. For most of our activities we will require you to sign a waiver form(assumption of risk). Some of our activities including 4×4 and Snowmobile tours will require drivers to show a valid driving license and leave a security damage deposit on a credit card.

    4. Full payment will be taken immediately at time of reservation. All payments are taken in Canadian Dollars.

    5. We accept no responsibility for emails that we deliver to your email host that are not in turn delivered to your inbox, or are removed by your spam filter.

    When should I reserve?

    This is a very popular activity. Reservations for weekends, Christmas vacations and spring break should be made 1 or 2 weeks in advance. For any other time, reservations should be made a few days in advance.

    Yes all equipment is provided. Helmet, mitts, snow boots, snowsuit, trail access, gas, insurance and guide.

    There is an element of risk in all outdoor activities. Snowmobiles can go as fast as cars. After a security briefing, you will drive the snowmobile yourself if you have signed up as a driver. This means YOU control the speed. Risks are minimized by running the excursions under the supervision of professional guides. The group always follows guides on dedicated snowmobile trails. It is important to follow the instructions that are given at the beginning of the ride.

    To drive, participants must be 18 years+ and have a valid (automobile) driver's license with identification, and they must have them at all times during the snowmobile activity.
