Make your way to historic Union Station in downtown Denver and head west with a guide and small group. Reach the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, stopping first at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre music venue, where sandstone cliffs provide naturally perfect acoustics. Wind through Bear Creek Canyon to the quaint mountain town of Evergreen, a great place to stop for refreshments (own expense).
Drive on the scenic Lariat Loop route to the top of Lookout Mountain, site of Wild West showman Buffalo Bill’s grave and stunning views of the Front Range. On the way back to Denver, pass through the town of Golden, best known as the home of Coors brewery. You are dropped off back at Union Station in time to grab a late lunch or continue exploring downtown Denver on your own.
