Food Tasting Tour

Highlights

  • Your tour begins on Largo Sao Domingo n.56, where you’ll greet your guide at Restaurante El Picota — a typical corner café serving Portuguese classics. This is the first of five bars you’ll visit throughout the course of tour. After sampling small plates made from local produce, proceed to your next bar and continue eating and drinking in ambient surroundings. Your guide provides commentary that links Porto’s rich culture to its delicious cuisine, and talks about the radical rise in popularity that Portuguese cuisine has enjoyed. At the final bar, after countless Portuguese classics, bid your guide farewell and continue exploring Porto independently.
