Summary

Prepare for a full day of adventure, starting with an early morning pickup from your Miami-Dade County or Fort Lauderdale hotel or another convenient meeting location. Meet your naturalist guide and get acquainted on the drive to a nature sanctuary. Once there, choose to take a kayak or stand-up paddleboard out to tranquil seagrass flats that are perfect for beginners to navigate. You may see sharks, barracudas, sea turtles, manatees, and a wide variety of fish. Paddle further to an old-growth mangrove forest—the sea’s natural nursery—as you listen to your guide explain more about this complex ecosystem. Have lunch on a chartered boat before heading out for some snorkeling. Then, explore two different coral reef locations in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Look for birds, rays, dolphins, tropical fish, and more turtles. Your tour ends with drop-off at your original pickup location.
