Florence Day Trip: Pisa, San Gimignano, and Siena with Lunch in Piazza del Campo

After pickup at Florence’s Stazione Leopolda in air-conditioned coach, travel for roughly an hour to Siena, the city of the Palio horse race.

Tour the city’s historical center with a guide, stopping at Piazza del Campo, where the Palio is held twice a year, and Piazza del Duomo, home of the Siena Cathedral. Then, enjoy free time to explore on your own.

Next, head to a local winery, where you’ll enjoy a wine tasting and traditional Tuscan lunch. The tour then heads to San Gimignano, a UNESCO-listed site with medieval streetscapes and towers. Walk along the town’s narrow streets and visit local shops.

The final stop is Pisa to visit the Baptistery, Cathedral, and, of course, the Leaning Tower. Take advantage of some free time here to snap photos of the iconic attractions before you head back for drop-off in Florence.

Entrance to the Siena Cathedral is included ONLY if selected at the moment of reservation. Otherwise, clients can enter at their own expense and depending on Cathedral opening times. Please note that will not available on Sundays or Bank Holidays and during special event opening times can change.
Please also note that during low season (November 16th to March 31st) the tour in Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, French and German will be guaranteed with minimum 4 pax, if the minimum is not met the tour will be guaranteed in English or Spanish.
