Floating Village Sunset Vespa Tour

Our guides will pick you up at your accommodation at 2 PM. We’ll move farther away from the bustle of the city and hit the roads to a quiet rural village where we’ll see the locals go about their daily activities. Stop at a local village to pick up Khmer snacks and explore a Buddhist monastery.

The journey continues with a delve deeper into a boat trip around the lake to see floating villages and get a taste for life ruled by monsoonal rains and water-based agriculture. On arrival, cruise around the stilted houses, floating markets and school as your guide explains the unique way in which the locals adapt to the vastly different seasons and how they sustain the community through fishing.

In the end, you will enjoy relaxation and watch the sunset from the top deck for the best views of the lake whilst including the cold beverage on board.

Hop on our motorcycle and we’ll take you out on a ride through one of most panoramic landscapes floating village and far away from the regular tourist itinerary to some hidden and fascinating stops!

You will spend the half day in the afternoon in the lush Tonle Sap lake and catch a glimpse of this fascinating way of life for many locals at the floating village of Kompong Pluk.

Whether you’re driving on the back of the motorcycle through the countryside along the dirt lane, the floating village is the perfect place to catch a breath of fresh air and enjoy the picturesque countryside and watch the sun set down over the Tonle Sap lake.
