in Fez to Middle atlas day trip You will discover the mystics of Morocco will start by following the track of the Medieval Caravans collecting goods from the heart of Morocco in order to take it to the other side of the world via the Sahara. From Fez, we will head to the Atlas Mountains. Our first stop will be in Ifran. This city is nicknamed the Switzerland of Morocco” or 'little Switzerland”. It resembles to Alpine villages. In the 1930, some French architects designed it as an escape for French settlers from the overwhelming Medinas. The next stop will be in Azrou. Upon our arrival to this rocky city, we will visit the cedar forest. Its Barbarian apes will welcome us from trees and if we are lucky or generous with them, they might descend and break their shyness with hesitant steps. This charming town is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes.
