If you're on the edge deciding whether or not to book this - book it! And hope Mary Margaret is your guide. She was so friendly and made a sincere effort to connect with each of the 5 couples on our tour. She gave great information on the history and development of the Fells Point area was able to answer all of the historical questions we asked. And the food selection was great (and I live in a big foodie city, so I don't consider myself super easy to impress with food). We had two people with food allergies on our tour and they received allergin-free substitutes as needed. As other reviews mentioned, you do not need to eat beforehand, and you will not need to go out to dinner after. My husband and I were both still full when we went to bed at 10 pm! This tour makes me want to do a food tour on every vacation I take in the future - my only worry is that other tours won't live up to the high standard this one set.
Amazing, informative tour
The food was fantastic, guide was very knowledgeable and wonderful. My first food tour and the bar is set very high!!! I would recommend THIS tour/guide 100%.
A must-do in Baltimore!
Mary Margaret was a lovely guide and the tour was amazing - the food at each place was exceptional and a lot - no need for dinner afterward!
Foodie tour
Great tour with Mary Margaret Our group is a bunch of Rugby fans which made it all that more pleasurable I was a little worried there wouldn’t be enough food, but I was not disappointed We left a tour stuffed Lots of good information about Fells point/Baltimore So much my wife and daughter are returning to spend a weekend here Thanks again, Mary Margaret
Great food with a lovely host
Wow the food was amazing at every stop! I was afraid it was going to be nothing but crab cakes but the variety was great - there were large portions of multiple dishes at each location. SO delicious! We also ordered fun drinks at each place (paid for these as we went along). It was lovely spending an afternoon with Mary Margaret, and we enjoyed learning about the rich and interesting history of the area.
