Summary
Tour info
Why take this tour?
During this short jungle trek you have a big chance to see Sumatran Orangutans and other wildlife as well as a wide variety of plants and insects. In the morning at 10:30 our English speaking guide will pick you up from your nearby guest house in Bukit Lawang. Afterwards your group will start your trek through dense rainforest passing unforgettable scenic viewpoints overlooking the whole valley, the Bohorok River and the village of Bukit Lawang. Towards the end of your trek you will arrive at the foot of Bukit Lawang and will be guided back to your guesthouse by around 15:00 pm. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, kill nothing but time. This is the mantra of our trekking tours intending to leave nothing non-organic behind. Due to its continuous efforts our EcoTravel team has been awarded e.g. “Eco Friendly Tour Operator of the Year 2018”, “Travel & Hospitality Award Winner” and received the “Hall Of Fame Status” on TripAdvisor 2019.
