The evenings in Chile can be cold any time of the year. It is recommended that you bring a jacket, sweater, and gloves.
The entire astronomical experience at the Observatory lasts three hours.
Although you will have private transportation, there may be other visitors at the observatory joining you, which is beyond our control.
This tour is available daily weather-permitting and based on availability. A full refund will be issued in the event the weather conditions do not permit the activity on the date selected or if the Observatory closes for reasons beyond our control.
The departure time varies depending on the time of year. When we confirm the reservation we will advise of the pick up time, but generally it is between 4:30 and 5:30 during the Winter months and 6:30 and 7:30 during the Summer months.
Most travelers can participate
Your health is our priority. All of our tours include private transportation in order to maintain social distancing in compliance with the U.N. World Health Organization’s Guidelines to Restart Tourism (25 May 2020). You will be the only guests in the tour van. We also provide hand sanitizer and masks are available for all guests.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
