Why take this tour?
Escape the city and discover the delights of life along the rivers in Portugal. When you travel by sidecar you soak up the smells and sounds of river flora and fauna, historic sites and village life today – this is a unique and mutli-sensorial experience. We will be able to ride to parts of the river side that others can't reach, and as we travel we will point out interesting facts and information of the region. As we ride we will see beautiful waterfalls, hidden fluvial beaches and history of the people who live here (old watermills and other interesting architecture) along the rivers' long and winding paths. Stopping for pictures, lunch and refreshments you'll attract all the attention from passers by. This is a truly unique and memorable way to take in Portugal's impressive river ways and take away a feeling of true adventure.

We bring water, fruit, nuts, granola bars and biscuits as light snacks along the ride. -
We will provide a helmet, gloves, eye wear (goggles or helmet with visor), blanket, charging points (bring own cable) -

We are Rob and Zayne, experienced explorers on motorbikes and sidecars worldwide. Gusto Sidecar Adventures allows us to share the multi-sensorial experience of travelling by sidecar. Discovering the hidden gems of Portugal, we take our time to soak up the surroundings and incredible sights. Rob is a UK certified motorcycle instructor, and together we have a combined 40+ years riding experience.
