Experience Lapland – Ice Fishing

Ice fishing is a very popular leisure activity for local people in Lapland and it suits everyone! Rovaniemi is ideal for fishing buffs, as we have a great selection of frozen rivers, rapids, lakes and ponds in the area. The ice gets very thick in winter and is safe to walk and stand on it.

First, we'll go ice fishing on a lake in the middle of an ancient, Arctic forest. After that, we'll take you on a cookout experience where will circle around a campfire in a snowy field, with a menu that includes Lapland pork sausages and salmon. Your fresh catch from ice fishing can go on the grill, as well! The whole tour lasts 4 - 5 hours.
