In the wilderness is where memories are made… Whether it’s the exhilarating rush as you look over the edge of a bottomless crevasse, the fresh mountain air that fills your lungs, or the sense of wonder gazing across the glaciated landscape.
In contrast to crowded tours in Alaska, our backcountry camps are comfortable, and limited to 5 guests per guide. Bottom line? A more intimate experience with everything from glaciers to amazing vistas.
Beyond the jaw-dropping scenery, your experienced and friendly guide will share stories, local history, glaciology, and answer any questions you have throughout the tour.

- You must be able to walk on uneven, soft, steep, rocking, and slippery terrain for up to 3-5+ miles per day
- Under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult
- This tour is rated as Strenuous (to Extreme)
- No prior mountaineering experience needed
- Minimum age requirement of 10 years old
- Please arrive on time to check-in and get set up
- There are no bathrooms in the backcountry, so bathroom breaks are done nature-style
- Bring snacks and a water bottle (water can be filled at our camp)
- Bring a backpack, size 40-60 liters (rental packs available)
- Waterproof rain jacket & rain pants required and bring layers, dress for current weather conditions
