Excursion to Monte Isola, Iseo lake

Proclaimed as one of the best three destinations in Europe (by European Best Destination), Montisola is an isolated mountain in the middle part of Iseo Lake (Monte=mountain and Isola=island).

During the tour the Guide offers you a small snack to taste the tyipical local products.

Small villages are located at the feet of the mountain, where cars are not admitted and it is possible to move only cycling and walking, hence becoming the best place for a sustainable tourism. Inhabitants keep alive their traditions and local cuisine, making Montisola worth of the EDEN price (European Destination of Excellence by the European Commission).

Easy trekking to reach the top of the mountain and visit the old little church, from which is possible to enjoy a stunning view of the lake and of the surrounding mountains.
