Participants are requested to bring their masks on the tour. Wearing a mask is mandatory to comply with health and safety regulations
Due to the COVID regulations, the body temperature of all the participants will be measured at the entrance. Participants with a body temperature of 37.5 degrees C or above will not be allowed to enter
Participants above 12 years must bring any of the following: proof of full vaccination, proof of first vaccination administered at least 15 days ago, proof of a Covid-19 infection in the past 6 months, or a negative test taken no more than 48 hours before the activity starts
Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both Men and Women. Participants are requested to avoid wearing sleeveless tops or shorts. Failure to comply with the dress code may result in refused entry
Large bags and backpacks are not permitted on this tour
All students should have their student identity cards on them to get a discount on the admission fee.
All visitors are supposed to be searched by the museum/site security, which may sometimes cause a delay of 15-20 minutes.
Please note: St Peter’s Basilica is closed for general audiences on Wednesday due to the weekly papal audience. Also, As the Basilica is an active place of worship, either announced or unforeseen events can occur where the entrance to the Basilica becomes prohibited. In such circumstances, the tour authority will let the participants know beforehand and the tour of the Basilica will be substituted by an extended tour of the Vatican museums.
