Meanwhile, Kalapatthar situated at an altitude of 5,545 meters above sea level is the highest point of the trek. The starting point of the Everest Base Camp trek is Lukla. The total distance of the trek from Lukla to Kalapatthar and back to Lukla is 130 kilometres. Similarly, It will take 35 minutes of scenic flight to reach Lukla airport from Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu. Everest Base Camp trek difficulty level depends on the season to visit and the number of days for the acclimatization.
