Etna Morning Trip

Your tour begins with pickup from your Catania hotel. You’ll travel by air-conditioned van to Mt. Etna and then set off on a family-friendly hiking trail perfect for all abilities. Listen to your guide tell stories about how powerful geological forces created the tallest active volcano in Europe while pointing out old and new lava flows.

After exploring the inner crater and taking a short break, you’ll put on a helmet and headlamp to explore the darkened inner chambers of a lava cave. On the return hike, you’ll enjoy lovely panoramas of the lava formations in the Valle del Bove.

The tour concludes with drop-off back at your Catania hotel.
