In the morning, we will come and pick you up at your Hotel or Accommodation in Bordeaux. Meet your English speaking driver / guide who is an expert on Bordeaux Wines. Once you have met your guide, he/she will go over the program and itinerary of the day with you. Then, board your comfortable, air conditioned vehicle and begin to make your way to the Saint Emilion wine producing region.

Travel in a Premium Vehicle
Your private Bordeaux Day Trip to Saint Emilion will take place in one of our very spacious Mercedes Minivans. This vehicle can take up to 7 persons. All our vehicles are equipped with an on board P/A system that allows you to hear the commentary of your driver/guide no matter where you are seated. Also, there is free Wi-Fi access in all vehicles. Bottled water is also available in all our vehicles.
Participate in a Sensory Wine Tasting Workshop
After a short drive, arrive at the winery where you will participate in a 1 hour and a half sensory wine workshop. First, visit this Grand Cru Winery of the Saint Emilion wine region. Then, guided by a knowledgeable hand, experience a side-by-side tasting of 4 different wines that come from 4 different terroirs. Then, your goal will be to try and define the aromas that are present in the different wines. For this, we will use a fun & informative aroma game that will help you identify, memorize and associate aromas and wine.
Delicious picnic lunch or Cheese & Cold meat platter in a Château Winery of Saint Emilion
After your wine sensory workshop, we will take you to a Château winery for lunch. Here, you will have two possibilities either a picnic lunch made of a selection of fresh and local products (jam, salad, roasted meat, cheese, fruits, bread and mini-pâtisserie or a Cheese & Charcuterie platter composed of paté and foie gras along with a selection of aged French cheeses. Take some time as you sip on the Château wine (1 glass of wine included). Water, tea or coffee are also included with your meal.
Blind tasting Workshop at a Grand Cru Winery
After your picnic lunch at the Château, it will be time to continue your day and arrive at our final visit. Discover the final winery of the day with a special private visit followed by a unique wine tasting session. In the private cellar of the Château, experience a blind tasting of 4 different wines. The goal here is to have no preconceived perceptions of a wine based on elements such as the name of the winery, how good a label looks like or the price of a bottle. During this experience, it will be all about the color of the wines, the aromas and what the wine actually tastes like. At the end of the tasting all you have to do is to say which wine you liked the most before all the information about the wines are revealed.
After the workshop, return to Bordeaux.
