Once your cruise ship docks in Buenos Aires, disembark and meet your tour guide. Climb aboard and set out for San Antonio de Areco, enjoying views of the sprawling pampas on the way. Listen as your guide talks about the history and geography of the area, as well as the gaucho culture. Arrive in San Antonio de Areco for a walking tour of the downtown before moving on to the El Ombu de Areco Estancia.
See a traditional estancia in action and take the opportunity to go horseback riding or take a carriage ride. Snack on cheese, cold cuts, and beverages and then sit down for an Argentinian barbecue, followed by dessert. Watch a folklore show and a demonstration of horsemanship and wrangling skills.
