Visapur Fort was built by the Peshwas in 1713, and is the sister fort of the more popular Lohagad. The fort is vast but is not as well-preserved as Lohagad. You'll be able to explore the small caves, shrines, and many cisterns at the top. Visapur fort also has huge carvings of Lord Hanuman to admire . One of the highlights of this trek is a grandly decorated archway which draws historians and photographers.
